Aircraft Design & Performance

  

LFMT has developed an integrated in-house aircraft design pre-sizing tool. This tool contains all the phases of the aerodynamic design procedure i.e. conceptual, preliminary and detailed design phase. Additionally, the LFMT has developed a tool that estimates the aircraft performance. In particular, LFMT as the coordinator of the HCUAV project specializes in the aerodynamic design of unmanned aerial vehicles. The LFMT experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) allows to enhance the in-house pre-sizing tool in the detailed design phase.
