ESTHISIS

The Esthisis (ΕΣΘΙΣΗΣ, Έξυπνο Σύστημα Αισθητήρων Ανίχνευσης Διαρροής σε Αγωγούς Μεταφοράς Προϊόντων Πετρελαίου σε Περιβάλλον Θορύβου-Smart Leakage Detection Sensor System in Petroleum Product Pipelines in a Noisy Environment) project focuses on the development of smart leakage detection sensors. 

The main objectives of the project are:

• High accuracy in detection and localization of leakages in pipelines.
• Short execution time of the algorithm employed.
• Lower sampling size and frequency [0-12.8 kHz] than the typical 100 kHz.
• Reliable operation under realistic high-noise environmental conditions.
• Intermittent operation and reduced power consumption.
